Revealed in November 2016, Advent’s designs at Pittsburgh’s Trees Pool facility will give the men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs a recruiting edge as they look to take the next step in the ACC. Upgrades to the locker room and team room give the Panthers a first-class facility that sends a powerful message to current and prospective athletes. “The space itself is probably the nicest in the ACC, and it’s definitely going to help with recruiting,” head coach John Hargis told PittsburghPanthers.com. “It’s going to really make the kids feel as though they’re extremely important on this campus.”
This week’s unveiling of the new facilities already served to inspire the current group of swimmers and divers. “It’s like when a kid opens up a Christmas present that they want,” junior Meme Sharp told PittsburghPanthers.com. “The locker room is amazing. Everyone feels like we’re really taken care of, which helps us put that much more effort in the pool and working hard in class.” Advent has designed locker rooms for the Tennessee Titans, Auburn, USC, and Vanderbilt.
