Digital Media Center
University of Alabama
Story and Style to Radio and Television
The Digital Media Center at the University of Alabama is one of the largest teaching centers of its type in the nation. The DMC is home to WVUA-TV, the Center for Public Television and Radio, Alabama Public Radio, and Crimson Tide Productions. The DMC partnered with Advent to bring the story of this rich and historic program to life in the 46,000-square-foot space. With three television studios, three television control rooms, four radio studios, and 10 television edit suites, the state-of-the-art space still lacked the impact of a great story.
Advent incorporated innovative storytelling techniques with large custom wall treatments, graphics timelines, and custom wayfinding and signage to bring a fun contemporary flair to the hallways of this state-of-the-art facility.
