Introduction
Opened in Fall 2018, the Schar Center is Elon’s venue for convocations and speakers as well as the home for Phoenix basketball and volleyball. Serving a variety of audiences, the Schar Center required a cohesive graphic style and design language that could move audiences from gameday to graduation day. Lit graphics and dimensional text give the athletic spaces energy while carrying out Elon’s brand message of “Elevate.”.
Stained wood, university branding and Block E logos give areas geared toward the general public a look of class and sophistication. Throughout the space, dramatic displays and graphics reinforce the energy of a new gathering place for the Elon community.
