The University of Tampa recently renovated the Bob Martinez Athletic Center, but the facility wasn’t all that needed an update. The university’s athletic brand lacked clarity and consistency. Instead of relying on past traditions, Tampa needed to create new ones.
Advent welcomed the opportunity to work with the university to refine the athletic brand and provide a unifying culture for future Spartans. UT’s new athletic brand message centers around the three core attributes of a Spartan: Courage, Unity, and Sacrifice. The message culminates into one central battle cry for both athletes and fans: “Stand as One.” For the University of Tampa, Advent transformed a newly renovated facility with a struggling brand, creating an experience that lets current and prospective athletes, students, and fans know what it means to be a Spartan.
