Penn Basketball

The soaring Rockwell Gym Atrium at the University of Pennsylvania showcases an unforgettable era to current basketball players as well as donors and alumni who remember the historic run.

The lofty space tells the story of the 1977-78 and 1978-79 teams with striking wallcoverings and text panels. Player graphics saturated with Quaker blue and red accent elegant blond wood pillars and tensioned panels display historic plays from the Sweet Sixteen and Final Four teams.

Sleek recessed lighting adds a shimmer to the enormous player graphics that tower over fans and players, maximizing the impact of the two-story space. A backlit Penn logo, swathes of brand colors and fight song lyrics further builds the brand into the atrium.

The updates complement impactful branding in Penn’s Tse Sports Center at Hutchinson Gym to build excitement and loyalty in current players, fans and recruits.
