Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator at Advent will serve as an integral part of the Marketing team. This position provides the organizational force needed to set the rest of the group up for success. An ideal candidate will bring a combination of marketing creativity and administrative responsibility.


The following are indicative of the essential functions required to perform this job successfully.

  • Research relevant conferences within Advent’s field and potential impact
  • Coordinate logistics of registration, travel, shipping materials, and other details of attended conferences
  • Maintain and manage marketing calendar for sales team
  • Create copy and content for, manage mailing lists of, and send out weekly marketing emails
  • Assist Recruiter in bringing on department interns; supervise department interns’ tasks and responsibilities; schedule company-wide intern testimonial interviews
  • Attend and contribute in weekly marketing meetings and take notes
  • Coordinate travel as needed for freelance photographers/videographers
  • Handle administrative duties for VP of Sales & Marketing and Director of Marketing;
    • Complete monthly expense reports
    • Coordinate travel details


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field


Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly organized and acute attention to detail

  • Familiarity with design and experience with Adobe Suite, InDesign, etc. preferred (not required)

  • Ability to solve problems on the fly

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-starter, proactive not reactive

  • Ability to learn quickly with experience in a fast-paced workplace

  • General understanding of sports business and customer service

  • Experience with Salesforce, Certify, Procore preferred (not required)
